From soft goods to digital products, I’ve been a designer my whole life
I grew up making my own clothes. My first job was designing soft goods in India for worldwide export. I learned how to design and develop at scale and think on my feet. I believe that Design is nothing without function. It has to work. Every decision is intentional and has a cost that must be considered.
Great design is invisible. It precedes thinking, predicts movements, and meets you where you are
Design is a tool through which we accomplish our most mundane and most important tasks. Send the email. Transfer money. Book the flight.
There’s a finality and impermanence to all our daily tasks. Design helps you see and make sense of it all. It is both an art and a science.
There is no one-size fits all approach to Design
I believe that the Design and Development process should be malleable. Designing the right solution depends on the problem at hand, the team building it, and the customer who needs it.
I am a flexible and skilled designer who can zoom out to define a specific problem, and dive deep into customer calls, screen shares with engineering and Figma files to design the right solution.
When I’m not designing, you can find me at the farmers market, in the kitchen or on the dance floor.
In my spare time, I love to cook, eat, and dance
